Rapper Glorilla is in custody following a traffic stop in Georgia that escalated into a DWI arrest, with police alleging they discovered the artist in a state of undress with open alcohol in her vehicle. The arrest has drawn a public reaction from fellow artist hot Red, who expressed confidence in Glorilla’s imminent release.

Law enforcement officials report the incident began as a routine traffic violation. An officer observed a vehicle switching lanes without signaling and initiated a stop. Upon approaching the car, the officer was reportedly met with a strong odor of marijuana emanating from inside.a
The situation intensified when the officer looked into the vehicle. According to preliminary police statements, Glorilla was found largely unclothed, with her breasts 𝓮𝔁𝓹𝓸𝓼𝓮𝓭. An open bottle of Hennessy cognac was also allegedly visible within the passenger compartment.
Authorities immediately took the Memphis-born rapper, whose legal name is Gloria Woods, into custody. She was charged with driving under the influence, an open container violation, and the initial traffic infraction. The arrest report details the suspect’s condition as being inconsistent with operating a vehicle safely.
The news spread rapidly through social media and hip-hop news outlets, prompting a response from St. Louis rapper Sexyy Red. In a since-deleted social media post, Sexyy Red was quoted as saying, “Glorilla is going to jack big mother effing on bailout gang,” indicating her belief that her colleague would post bond quickly.

This incident marks another legal entanglement for the “F.N.F. (Let’s Go)” hitmaker. It follows a pattern of highly publicized interactions with law enforcement for the rising star, whose gritty anthems often detail street life and unrestrained behavior. Her fan base has grown exponentially since her 𝓿𝒾𝓇𝒶𝓁 breakout in 2022.
Community reaction is split. Some fans have taken to online platforms to express concern for the artist’s well-being, urging for support and rehabilitation over punishment. Others criticize the arrest as an overreach, questioning the severity of the charges relative to the alleged offense.
