I was in Walmart with my boyfriend when this young guy walked up and said, “I’m trying to give you this monster.”
My boyfriend instantly stepped in like, “That’s my girl, chill.”
But I’m not gonna lie… the guy was handsome, and his confidence caught my attention.
He said it again, and in the moment, I told my boyfriend, “I’m sorry, bae… I think it’s time we move on.” His face dropped, and he literally got on his knees crying in Walmart while I stood next to the other guy.
Then the guy pulled out a Monster Energy drink and said, “I was talking about this. It’s just a prank.”
Now my boyfriend is heartbroken, and I feel stuck.
