The 56-year-old singer and actress made that clear during a June 8 appearance on ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen,’ where the conversation turned to whether she ever checks her social media inbox or entertains private messages from admirers.

When Andy Cohen asked directly, “Do you check your DMs, Jennifer?”, her answer was immediate “No.” Cohen followed with a scenario involving a high-profile athlete trying to reach her through Instagram.

Lopez didn’t budge. “I think they would be able to find me, no? If you really wanted to find me, you could find me.” The host pushed further, pointing out the obvious reality of modern celebrity attention.

Lopez shut it down with a line that now doubles as her unofficial dating rule “You’re not going to find me through Instagram or sliding into my DMs. You have to make more of an effort than that.”
